Hi, I'm a mum living with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND), and the founder of Alternative Curiosity. When my health meant I had to step away from my previous work, I found a new path—creating something meaningful, from home, with heart.
With the help and inspiration of my incredible son, Noah, who is autistic, I began designing and making affordable visual supports for communication. What started as a personal need became a passion project—and now a small business—focused on helping both children and adults express themselves more easily.
Every product is thoughtfully created with accessibility in mind—tools that are practical, inclusive, and built to support those with additional needs, communication differences, or neurodivergent experiences. Whether you're a parent, teacher, carer, or therapist, I hope my visuals can make life just a little bit easier for you and the people you care for.
Thank you for being here and supporting a small, neurodivergent-led business that believes communication should be accessible to everyone
